Well, not really! Some good friends (Ali &Tony) are seriously considering buying a Motorhome and asked us to join them for a weekend while they trialled a rental one before making a commitment. Ali wanted to go to the sea so we booked into Cliff House https://www.cliffhouseholidays.co.uk/ for 3 nights (4-7 July)… we had been a couple of times before and it’s difficult to beat the location with Dunwich one side, Dunwich Heath and Minsmere the other and steps straight onto the beach. We had a fabulous weekend, barbie on the Thursday, long walks in the sunshine on Friday ( we only did Dunwich and back but Ali&Tony walked the 8 miles to Southwold then paid £35 for a taxi back😨). Even the rain on Saturday afternoon didn’t dampen our spirits as we had a fun afternoon playing games in the van. A great weekend and, I hope, the start of many more once they take the plunge with their own van.
